Butte Cafe Smashed in Fatal Truck Collision
A Seattle man was killed and four injured when a pickup and a car collided, sending the truck into Freda's Cafe on East Park Street at 6 15 p.m. The cafe owners Frank and Mrs Freda Kelly operated the cafe. The truck driver Thomas G Reynolds 51 of 326 Watson was treated for skull fractures and injuries. James D Fall 62 of Seattle died in the crash. Several cafe patrons were treated, including Mrs Grace Boelter and Hal Shanks.
