The Montana state welfare board announced a $150000 fund to sponsor WPA projects in counties cities and school districts. The plan follows exhaustion of prior agency funding and aims to avoid dole by using WPA wages for approved community projects. Senator Wheeler sent word from Washington that 2000 more WPA workers are authorized.
