Three Butte Boys Find Man Dead Near Rocker
The frozen body of an unidentified man about 60 was found near Rocker this morning by three Butte boys. He likely died two or three days earlier from a fall on rocks, then dragged about 20 feet toward the highway. The hat bore a local clothing firm's name. Deputy Sheriff Malloy and Acting Coroner Corbitt oversaw the investigation. The body was moved to Duggan's Merrill mortuary. The trio who found him alerted residents and the sheriff's office.
