Pittsburgh June 25 WPA The Aluminum Company of America granted 20 000 CIO employees a 10 percent wage increase and announced the first rise in its basic aluminum prices in 11 years. Prices will go up a cent per pound for 99 percent aluminum pig to 15 cents and large size 99 percent ingot to 16 cents.

Youth Wounded in Accident Near Basin Mine
Snow E. Weaver aged 14 from 2503 Harvard Street sustained a left arm wound Friday afternoon near Daily West mine at Basin when a .22 rifle in his possession discharged as he slipped on a rack. He was admitted to St. James hospital in good condition Friday night. the youth said the rifle discharged when he slipped.

Danger of Giant Firecrackers Warned by Sheriff

Youngster Burned by Firecracker Incident Near Willoughby
