Leslie McGowan a 28 year old rancher near Hall was charged with first degree murder in a filing by County Attorney D M Durfee after a shooting at a Hall area filling station. Harry Buchanan a 45 year old man died from bullet wounds. A coroner's jury ruled Buchanan died from McGowan fired wounds. witnesses Howard Anderson and M H Furman testified. A preliminary hearing will be held when McGowan recovers from wounds.
