Bozeman resident C L Witzell learned Tuesday night that his son Dr Roger Witzell of Alaska and pilot Lawrence Rogers survived a crash and are hospitalized in Anchorage in critical condition. Dr Witzell age 27 and his wife, 24, are dead along with Austin E Morehead. Witzell formerly lived in White Sulphur Springs Montana before going to Alaska last year.

Pistols Stolen From Butte Gun Shop In Night Burglary
Twenty three pistols valued at least 1000 dollars were taken from Tripp's Gun and Key shop on South Main in Butte. The theft occurred Tuesday night between 6 30 and 9 pm. Six pistols were in for repairs and 17 were new guns for sale. The loot included 11 .22 Colts plus other calibers. Police expect pawn shop resale motive and named three suspects to be questioned.

Accountant and preacher dies by lion at Perth zoo
Alexander Lindsay Edmeads a 36 year old accountant and lay preacher committed death by own action by throwing himself to a lion at South Perth zoo authorities said Tuesday. His mutilated body was found in a cage with a lion beside it. He was married with three children and had grown deeply religious about three years ago. This marks the second presumed suicide at the zoo.
