Night flying to start in fall on mail route here
Night flying on the Salt Lake Great Falls air mail route will begin this fall as National Parks Airways officials announce. Lighting from Salt Lake City to Pocatello should be done by October 15, with the remainder of the Great Falls route completed during winter. A double daily mail service will start once the full lighting is completed, enabling earlier delivery to Montana points and late night and daytime departures from Great Falls and Salt Lake City. The southbound schedule begun June 15 allows connections at Salt Lake City with eastbound planes at 4 p.m.
