WPA Allotments Voted for City Street Plan and County Sewer
County commissioners learned from Montana senators and congressmen that the national WPA approved a city street and alley project with an $800370 allotment and a county sanitary sewer project with $168645. Over 400 men will be employed when work starts, with state administrator Joseph E Parker to announce the opening date. Surveying and mapping were by county surveyor Jack Healy. The projects will deliver sanitary sewer facilities to areas outside the city limits including excavation and pipe laying.

Demand for Power Falls Below Last Year as Lake Levels Rise
