Roy W. Wells, 60, veteran electrical engineer for Montana Power, died in a San Diego hospital from a heart ailment. He had come to California for health reasons, on leave after 40 years of service. His wife Mary accompanied the body to Butte, where services and burial will be held. Survived by his mother Mrs. Lorenz Wells of Butte and brother Rennie Wells of Hauser Lake. Wells was born in Mexico.

Veterans gather in Butte for three war veterans convention

School Board Sets 1937 38 Budget Near One Million
The board of trustees for School District No 1 announced the 1937 38 elementary and high school budgets totaling about 910 420 26 dollars an increase of roughly 17 000 over last year.
