Missoula Man Killed When Train Hits Car
James Bolton Sr. 61, partner in Bolton Tanner Construction Co., Missoula, was killed when a Milwaukee Road freight train struck his stalled car 425 feet from the nearest crossing. The car rested across the tracks after traveling about 270 feet along the tracks parallel to Dakota Street on Missoula's west side. The time of the collision was 3 15 a.m. Bolton’s death marked the tenth traffic fatality in Missoula County that year, contributing to a Montana toll of 99 for 1965.

Two Crow brothers killed in Hardin stabbing fight
Norbert Hill 24 and Darrell Hill 22 former Crow and EMC athlete brothers were stabbed to death just after midnight Sunday on a Hardin service station driveway. Four suspects, three Crow members and a Sioux man from Wolf Point, held for questioning. A knife was recovered. Norbert died from a back wound, Darrell from a chest wound.
