Suspect in Mattoon Case Hangs Self in Idaho Jail
Cascade Idaho June 11 Sheriff Robert L Wilson said a suspect in the Charles Mattson kidnap slaying hanged himself in Valley county jail. The man was Thomas F Lannon 52 Reno Nevada. Mattson case involved a 10 year old boy kidnapped December 27 1936 and found January 11 1937 a 28000 ransom was asked. Coroner W C Hurd called it death by own action and no inquest will be held.
