RAMSGATE England A Swedish tanker Johannishus collided with the Panamanian freighter Buccaneer in the English Channel early Thursday. Nineteen seamen remain missing and feared dead. one body recovered. Rescue vessels saved 23 survivors. a Ramsgate lifeboat reported no further hope. Among the survivors was Ina Svensson wife of the first engineer. Buccaneer reached Schiedam Netherlands with a large hull hole but no casualties among her crew.

Mrs Jackie Lee Bielenberg of Deer Lodge Montana was killed when a passing car brushed a water tank funnel on a house trailer her Jeep was towing on U S 93 near the Idaho border. The impact caused the trailer to jackknife and plunge into a stream. Sheriff J C Harris said Lowell B Norheim of Pasadena California was cited for investigation after the wreck.

Kalispell lawyer Donald W. Mikalson, 33, was killed Thursday morning when a falling tree snag struck him in the Holowatt Creek area near the Big Creek Ranger Station on the North Fork of the Flathead River. Coroner Sol J. Catron and Sheriff Richard P. Walsh investigated. no inquest planned. He leaves a widow and four children, his parents in Eureka, and siblings.
