Helena June 4 I M Brandford state welfare administrator said federal authorities were informed that foodstuffs and clothing will be needed to supplement relief in Montana especially in industrial centers. He noted James E Brickett said Henry Wallace ordered a survey to determine needs. The welfare head said Montana would require large amounts of commodities and expected a federal allocation of 486956.97 for July to September for old age assistance aid to dependent children and aid to the needy blind.

Flood of milk follows collision in Cheyenne report
In Cheyenne Wyoming on June 4 a creamery truck drove by C N Redhair collided with another car and overturned sending a flood of about 200 quarts of milk into the streets. Miss Lee Thompson, the other driver, received emergency treatment for cuts and bruises at Memorial hospital.

Girl Falls From Moving Car Fatal for 18 Year Old
Frances Mabel Pollock 18 of Shelby died at home from injuries after falling from a moving car driven by Eugene Robinson 17 of Conrad Thursday night. An open verdict was returned by a coroner jury. Robinson said a car door opened and Pollock fell to the street. She arrived home about midnight and died seven hours later from a brain hemorrhage. This raises Montana’s auto death toll for the year to 45.

Double Tragedy Buried on Wedding Anniversary in Three Forks
In Three Forks on their thirteenth wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. August Kunze were shot dead outside their home. Mayor Kunze, 53, a longtime railroad engineer, and Mrs. Kunze, a former Dillon Normal College graduate and teacher, were honored in a large funeral at the Three Forks gymnasium with city council pallbearers, and interment in the local cemetery.

O K Hansen Anaconda Resident Dies Suddenly in Butte
O K Hansen 39 a well known Anaconda resident died suddenly in Butte of a heart attack while at a local restaurant. Born August 25 1899 in Anaconda he served 18 years as a driver with the Anaconda fire department before joining the Montana State Railroad Commission in Helena and later worked for the National Re-employment Service. He campaigned for Eugene Burris and was active in Masonic Acacia lodge and Firemen's and Policemen's Benefit association. He is survived by his wife daughter mother and several relatives. Funeral arrangements were pending.
