Michael Furlong, 49, of 2017 George Street, was killed near Point of Rocks, 15 miles north of Dillon, when the car he rode in overturned on a sharp curve shortly after noon. His skull was fractured and he died en route to Dillon after being transported by Blaine rancher Frank Robinson. Driver Waco Dunstan of Ogallala, Nebraska, a tourist, escaped. Furlong had been picked up about three miles from the accident site.
