Indiana University selects Montana field camp site
Indiana University will establish a field station in Montana to train geologists about 60 miles southeast of Butte on the Tobacco Root mountains. Karl G. Johnson 48 of Fallon Nev was found dead Wednesday morning in his 1931 Chevrolet sedan parked near Melrose. Coroner Sayatovic listed natural causes but a carbon monoxide test would be run. Death estimated three to four days prior with car battery dead and ignition on. Papers show former Anaconda resident and 1945 union card. Survived by siblings and a niece. Funeral arrangements to be announced.
