Wilson came to Montana in 1916 from Baltimore Maryland as a student and faculty member.

Eight half ton dump trucks and a motor patrol were purchased by Silver Bow County from four Butte firms for 17,246.50 dollars, the largest equipment expenditure since 1938. County commissioners and surveyor Jack Healy used competitive bidding.
