Tiny Girl Rescued From 10 Inch Well Pipe
Eyvonne Beasley, 17 months old and daughter of J. B. Beasley of Starr, was saved after a four hour effort in Anderson South Carolina. Rescuers drilled a parallel shaft and removed a section of pipe to free her from a 20 foot deep well. She was taken to a hospital in good condition as hundreds watched the operation. Oxygen was supplied into the well during the rescue supervised by physicians.
Deer collision on Highway 9A injures deer and damages car
William R. Deer of Sequim reported a four footed deer leaped from a hillside onto the hood of his car on Highway 9A near Pysht. The deer was killed. the driver paid 150 dollars to repair the vehicle.
