The Montana State High School Supervisor reported that about one third of graduates pursue higher training. Christian Brothers Central in Butte led with 59 percent, followed by Great Falls 41 and Billings 37.6. Helena 91.2 among others. A total of 5469 graduates and 828 high school equivalency diplomas were issued, mainly to war veterans tested in Helena Kalispell Missoula Great Falls and Billings.

Wheat stocks show Montana stored 11,893,000 bushels
Helena July 28 UP There were 12,883,000 bushels of wheat stored in Montana July 1 up from 1,174,000 a year earlier according to the Federal Agricultural Economies Bureau. The total includes 1,987,000 bushels in interior mills elevators and warehouses 500,000 in merchant mills and 9,096,000 bushels on farms.

Billings Men Held in Robbery Assault Case
Billings, July 38. Two Billings men Donald Dean Nage 23 and Lloyd Charles Biles 22 are held in connection with the robbery and assault of Jack Brown of Greybull Wyoming. Brown says he was robbed of 250 dollars and a watch Tuesday. The men were picked up Tuesday night and police say one admitted the robbery. Part of the money and the watch have been recovered.

Montana Woman Kills Self With Hypodermic
Bozeman Deaconess nursing home resident Marion Welch Kenney aged about 34 formerly of Livingston was found dead in her room. Sheriff Coroner Rice says death was caused by self injected poison with a hypodermic syringe nearby and a despondent note. No inquest planned.

A. J. Clemo Dies on Canada Trip
Fifty nine year old A J Clemo secretary of the Western Life Insurance company Ab Helena for 20 years died in Calgary Alberta while vacationing with his family. Clemo's body will be returned to Helena for funeral services. He was a member of the Helena Elks lodge and served on the Helena council of the Knights of Columbus.

Pastor Kills Man Attempting Burglary

Man Dies After Emergency Operation and Revival
In Trenton New Jersey Susy 28 a 62 year old state highway department employee William McCullie fell on the table during a major hing operation at McKinley Memorial hospital. His heart stopped just as the procedure began and an unnamed Philadelphia surgeon revived him with manual massage and two electric shocks. He died two hours later despite the revival.

Seventy year old Jim Poe pleaded an aver age Wednesday in the stabbing of ranch worker Harold W. Brown, 21, at a ranch bunkhouse near Dillon.
