Two Cyclists Hurt in Traffic Mishaps
In Kalispell two youths, Marvin Cassidy and Leon Dnhike, both 14, were injured when a car struck their bicycles on U.S. Highway 83 late Monday night. Cassidy suffered a compound skull fracture among other injuries. Dnhike had a leg fracture and additional injuries. The driver, questioned by police, reportedly passed another vehicle before the collision.

MISSOULA July 27 Two Montanans report sighting unusual objects in the sky. Mrs D S Meclver of Orchard Homes says an oblong silver object left a twin engine plane, hovered briefly, then drifted northeast. In Butte Mrs George Davies saw a shining disc moving north around 9 PM, similar to reports from Washington of a large silver balloon-like form.

State Oil Land Leases Set in Wild Oil and Gas Areas
The Montana state land board leased 16 231 acres of state owned wild and oil lands in two counties for 22 653 with 12 percent royalty.
