New Episcopal Bishop Consecrated in Helena Montana
The Very Rev Henry Hean Daniels was consecrated bishop coadjutor of the Montana diocese at St Peter procathedral Helena in a large ceremony. Chief consecrator was Right Rev H H Fox with Bishops Keeler Huston Atwill Ziegler and Moch taking part. Daniels, the fifth Montana bishop, is the first elevated from a Montana parish and will succeed Bishop Fox upon his retirement in November. The service included the litany and the presentation of a pectoral cross.

Bozeman April 27 A G Westwood Jr of Ledge Grass received 28.97 from the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation to reimburse losses from 164 acres of hard winter wheat. It was Montana’s first loss indemnity this year under the all risk program. Waring of the state AAA expects regular indemnities as growers report losses daily.
