Missoula Father and Daughter Die in Garage Blast
Two people died in a blast at a Pine Grove garage five miles east of Missoula. James Airport, 26, and his daughter Kathleen, 3, were in the garage with Del Rey Fontaine, 16, when the explosion occurred around 1 30 pm. Livingston Autoist Dies of Injuries
Edward C. Miller, 21, of Livingston, died from head injuries after a one car crash on U S Highway 89 six miles south of Livingston Tuesday morning. Miller was one of five in the car. the driver Charles Mathes and another passenger escaped. Miller’s brother Vernon, 19, and Joyce Kuehn, 17, Portland, Ore., were hospitalized. Coroner Wesley Cloyd said an inquest would be held. Montana toll for 1956 roads rose to 140, about 25 percent higher than last year.
