Nine teen mature vehicle fleet supervisors from Billings Great Falls Laurel Lewistown and Butte registered for a five day training course on truck operation. Rites Set for Drowning Victim in Kalispell Area
Kalispell mourns Donald Eisenman a local carpenter who drowned in McGregor Lake on July 18 after a six day search by sheriff's officers and volunteers. His burial services follow a lengthy rescue of his fishing companion Melvin Sunds who was saved nearby. Eisenman survived by his wife and five young children.

Junior Red Cross Meeting Opens at Rollins Lake
Missoula July 26 Nearly 100 high school students from Montana Torho Utah Washington and Alberta are expected to attend a junior Red Cross leadership training center at Rollins on Flathead Lake opening Tuesday and continuing through August. Red Cross executive Atin K. Greene said the program aims to train leaders, organize activities, and instill the philosophy of the Red Cross for development of junior programs in local chapters.

Terry Woman Dies in Auto Crash Near Billings
Mrs. Marion O'Fallon, 28, of Terry, dies from injuries after a Sunday night collision three miles east of Worren. Two others, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kelly of Seattle, are injured as their car rear-ends an oil tanker truck driven by Edward Nuty who says he stopped to repair a line. The Kellys, en route to Madison, were taking Mrs. O'Fallon to Terry.

Extradition Granted for Two Men in Montana Case

Death ruled accidental in Park City car crash
A Stillwater county jury ruled the death of Mrs Helen Johnston accidental after hearing testimony in a coroner's inquest. The crash near Park City left Mrs Johnston dead at the scene and her companion Robert Bradley with a broken leg. Bradley testified Johnston drove the car and he slept as it overturned on a curve.

Firemen Answer Six Alarms In Butte Incident
The Butte fire department answered six alarms on Monday. Three grass and brush fires were extinguished at 219 Virginia, 1400 West Diamond, and in the 2% block on Colorado. A fire from a cleaning solvent explosion at 723 Utah was put out with no damage reported. Two false alarms came in after 1 AM from Oregon and Evans and Broadway and Excelsior.

Six Montana artists will be featured Tuesday night in the second recital of the Montana music week series at the State university. Oakland dispatch reports Kaiser Co Inc announced a average wage increase of 13 cents an hour for 3,000 workers at the Fontana California steel plant and indicated steel prices would rise to cover the raise. The CIO Steel Workers at Fontana are affected. In San Francisco the sale of the San Diego Electric Bathway and the San Diego Coronado Perry companies to a group led by J. L. End Vacation Ends With Seven Pound Trout Catch
Mr and Mrs W R Lintz and family along with W M Lintz return from a vacation trip visiting Seeley Swan and Mathead lakes, through the Park to Firefield and Augusta. Three Forks Man Is Summoned
Three Forks resident L Johnson died Sunday at 41 Townsend after a week of illness from pneumonia. Born December 24, 1886 in Clinton Wisconsin, he married Margaret Waugh in 1890 and moved to Montana in 1916. Surviving wife, two sons Orrian of Three Forks and George in Auburn, daughters Evelyn Fardell Tacoma Helen Griffin Belton and Mary Bruce Helena, plus a sister, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday at Holy Family church with interment at Three Forks cemetery.
