ROCHESTER NY July 26 A 20 foot 200 pound Italian python that escaped from a Sea Breeze park cage eight days ago was killed by park director Captain R Staines. The Indian jungle monster was found under a small wooden building near its cage after thousands of residents and campers joined the hunt.

Legion Drum Corps to Attend State Convention in Bozeman
About 75 members of Silver Bow Post of the American Legion will depart next Sunday for the state convention in Bozeman on August 5 and 6. The Butte delegation includes a drum corps of over 30 pieces to perform concerts and street stunts during the gathering. Shovel Jaws Found in Million-Year Mastodon Fossils
Scientist Roy Chapman Andrews, on his Mongolia expedition, visited Peiping and reported a discovery of extensive fossil deposits including 30 platybelodons or shovel jawed elephants. Paris July 25 A California hotel keeper Charles Leopold Hartman of Hollister was released from arrest after the American embassy confirmed he had not left the United States since 1872 and that a man of the same name was condemned to death for espionage in WWI.
