Intruder Shot After Scaling White House Fence
A man carrying a three foot pipe climbed the White House fence Sunday night and was shot by an Executive Protective Service officer after failing to halt. He was hit about 60 feet inside the fence and taken to a Washington hospital in serious condition. Police tentatively identified him as Chester Plummer, 30, of WA.
