Osceola Missouri July 22 Two heavily armed robbers were slain less than an hour after a $1000 bank haul when Sheriff Logan Perry and Deputy Sheriff J E Kinkaid cornered them in a country lane while the pair were changing license plates on their getaway coupe. The dead were identified as Bill Frizzell and Phil lip Cronin. O E Simms cashier of Humansville bank identified the gunmen as the bank bandits who robbed the Humansville institution at 1 30 p m. After forcing three bank employees and four customers to the floor the duo pocketed $700 in currency and coins before fleeing toward Osceola on State Highway 13. They were shot at 1 45 p m two miles south of Osceola.
