Two Butte Youths Hurt in Separate Traffic Accidents
Mining City youths Ricky Zabenka aged 12 and Timothy Warner 14 were injured in two separate Thursday evening incidents. Zabenka was struck in the 1300 block of Fast Mercury by Charles Cerise of Meaderville and was taken to St. James Hospital with a possible leg and collarbone fracture and a concussion. Warner lost control of a scooter at Missoula and Excelsior streets, hit a rain culvert, and was treated at St. James for a head cut and abrasions. Firemen from Big Butte VFD helped before both boys were transported for X rays and further checks.
