Marooned on Ship at Sea Near Newfoundland

Car Kills Man Near Sidney
A 61 year old pedestrian dodged one vehicle then walked into the path of another and was killed on Highway 16 near Sidney. Homer K Sanders of Sidney died Saturday night from a fractured neck. He apparently walked along the center of the highway. He was struck from behind by a south bound car driven by 19 year old James M Simonsen of Sidney after jumping from the path of a northbound car driven by an unnamed woman who steered to the shoulder.
