Firefighters report the Thompson Falls blaze covering 125 acres on the Cabinet forest crest at Swamp Creek is corralled Sunday. About 200 men battled difficult terrain with downed logs. Lightning sparked 160 small fires across western Montana and northern Idaho. most were kept under a quarter-acre, with control expected by tonight.
