Cave Man Found Unconscious in Gregson Pool Rescue Efforts Continue
Safety workers from Anaconda Company rushed to Gregson Springs to aid Lester Braley 56 of Georgetown who was found unconscious at the bottom of the plunge at Gregson Springs resort. Doctors O Rourke and Malee joined the effort and an oxygen supply was requested from Tramway mine as first aid teams battled to revive him. In Chicago on July 16 a grocer named Rubin Sharfman, 35, was shot to death after a customer refused to pay credit for six eggs. Sharfman wrapped the eggs and handed them over. the man said to write it on the cuff, drew a revolver, fired twice, and fled.

Butte Jail Hosts First Wedding in Historic Cell
In Butte the historic old jail staged a wedding with Jack Weston an inmate since Sunday and Elveda White as contracting parties.
