In Chicago The Lambs nonprofit pet shop employs 25 mentally retarded youths in four hour shifts earning ten dollars a month. Founded by Corrine Owen and Robert Therese, the program also offers a weekly social club, with donors and local businesses supporting the shop that first opened three years ago.
