The 37th annual Butte rodeo drew nearly 4000 spectators for a rough thrilling Thursday opener. Montana collegians J C Bonine of Hysham and Marvin Joyce of Helena dominated, Bonine riding Trail's End for an 83 and Joyce scoring 73 on Blue Heaven. Other saddle bronc scores ranged from 62 to 53 as some riders were tossed, with more thrills planned tonight and Saturday.
