Butte cuts levy and buys buses for district
Butte school trustees unanimously cut the mill levy request by about 500000 and approved purchasing 25 buses from Jim Kraut Chevrolet for 394100 to be paid over three years at 42 percent interest. The 1975 model buses include one special education bus at about 17150. The levy totals 3800938 for July 30 election with a 63 mill rate, down from last year.
