Five Die In Montana Road Tragedies On Weekend Dramas
The Associated Press reports five people killed on Montana roadways Saturday raising the 1972 toll to 186. Four died in a two car head on crash four miles north of Winston on U S 12 near Helena with Judy Vanderwater and Robert C Crawford among the victims. A Montana husband and wife and a morning victim were not identified. Earlier a car with Illinois plates plunged into the Gallatin River south of Bozeman, killing its sole occupant who likely would be unnamed for days as relatives were abroad.
