Pvt Frank Clark Wounded in Pacific Marine Action
Pvt Frank Clark, husband of Mrs Tia Clark of 408 Silver Bow Homes, was wounded in action June 20 while serving with the Marine corps in the Pacific. He told his wife in a letter that he was wounded but gave no details on the extent or location. The Butte native and his wife have two children, Dee Ann and Joan. His parents live in Polson. Clark, a Butte High School graduate, joined Jan 15, 1945, after work at C and F Teaming and Tracking. He trained at San Diego, went overseas April 15, served at Guam before combat.
