Medicaid enrollment declines in Montana unwinding reports

A Montana health department final closeout report shows 115,302 people disenrolled during unwinding from Medicaid, about 4 percent more than expected and 6 percent more among expansion enrollees. Paperwork errors and missing information drove over 60 percent of losses. total Medicaid enrollment stands at 217,840, amid a state population near 1.1 million.

Groups allege bull trout plan violates federal law

Two conservation groups allege that moving bull trout from St Mary watershed lakes to Gunsight Lake violates the Endangered Species Act. The notice targets Glacier National Park the National Park Service and the U S Fish and Wildlife Service citing climate impacts but insisting agencies must comply with law. If unresolved the groups say they will pursue a federal lawsuit.
