Woman Fends Off Intruder In Big Hole Countryside Assault
A 20 year old Ross McCracken of Deer Lodge was jailed on first degree assault after a Butte mother of three fended off an armed intruder at Lower Seymour Lake. She and her husband tied McCracken and drove him to the sheriff. A .38 revolver and shells were handed to authorities. Deputy Schutty and Patrolman Joseph delivered the suspect to Anaconda.
