County to Hold Second Tax Deed Sale in March
Silver Bow County will conduct its second tax deed property sale of the year on March 5 with 43 parcels valued at 15 820. Most parcels are vacant lots with taxes delinquent. Tools valued at more than $1,000 were taken from the City Taxi Garage on East Silver after a late Wednesday or early Thursday break in. A red box of tools and a tool box belonging to Joe Trudgeon were stolen, while Molly’s Bar on North Main was entered and loot included six fifths of whiskey four cans of beer $3 in pennies and coins from a juke box.

WMC Student Injured In Dillon Scooter Truck Crash
An 18 year old Western Montana College student, Larry Patrick, was seriously injured when a motor scooter he rode collided with a semi truck on a Dillon street. He leaped to avoid impact but was struck. one tire ran over his torso. He was treated in Dillon and then transferred to St James Community Hospital in Butte. The truck driver, James E Nelson of Lewis town, said the accident happened rapidly. police noted slow speeds. Patrick is the son of Pat Patrick of Dillon and both he and his father are musicians at a Dillon nightclub.

New Orleans Dock Workers Approve Shipping Contract
