Foster Ledford a 54 year old topflight Butte bowler died during the Missoula Singles Classic competition after reportedly suffering a heart attack. He was awaiting his turn on the lanes when stricken. Ledford a Butte automotive salesman, from 810 Lexington, was taken to a local mortuary then to Butte for funeral services. He was a member of the Butte Boosters team and had bowled in doubles the previous night.
