Suffering from two deep gashes in his throat Tom Walss 35 of East Platinum street was rushed to St James hospital by police early yesterday. First aid was given and he was later jailed as a narcotic addict after slashing himself. Neighbors called officers found him on the floor in a pool of blood with injuries not piercing the jugular.
President Hoover completed the Reconstruc tion Finance Corporation directorate with Salt Lake City Democrat Wilson McCarthy named to the seventh post.
