Fall River, Mass. mother fatally burned as fire trapped three Massa children Irene five Angelina four and Laura three on the building’s third floor. An oil stove exploded downstairs and firefighters lowered Mrs Massa and the children into a life net, but the children did not survive.
J T Woodward of Spencer Trask argues mergers should lower costs or raise quality for consumers, not create monopolies. Archie Koskella and William Miettunen were killed instantly when a blast at the Stewart mine on the 2400 foot level went off shortly after four o'clock. Andrew Walkana was injured and taken to Murray hospital with shock and contusions. Rescue crews recovered the bodies as the wind was just started and an investigation is under way.
