British submarine M-2 feared lost in English Channel
Captain Howard of the coastal vessel Tynesider said M-2 dove stern first about eight miles northwest of Portland Bill and 2 1/2 miles offshore. He was believed to be the last witness to see the submarine before it vanished with about 60 men aboard.

Two Butte Men Crash Into Truckload of Dynamite
