Butte Man Convicted of Rape After Jury Deliberation
A nine man three woman jury convicted 47 year old Jay Dee Davisson of raping a 15 year old in August 2020 after roughly three hours of deliberation. Prosecutors praised the victim’s bravery as the judge presided and Davisson faced potential prison terms up to 100 years plus fines. The jury could not reach a verdict on the child endangerment charge.

Steve Gunderson would classify electric assist bicycles as non motor vehicles and allow them wherever regular bikes are allowed including streets and multi use paths even on natural surface trails.
