Boulder program eyed as national model for retarded seniors
A new 1960s federal funded senior citizen program for the mentally retarded will begin Feb 1 at the Boulder State Training School and Hospital with 14 467 dollars plus 25 percent in kind support from the Boulder River Jaycees and the school. Lyle Downing state director leads the project and a Helena meeting at 9 a m Tuesday will outline the plan for possible submission to President Johnson. Attendees include Edward I Okacki assistant regional mental health representative and other state institution personnel.
