Butte Man Sentenced to 12 Years in Lewd Conduct Case
Butte resident Alton Owen, 31, received a 12 year sentence with six years suspended after pleading guilty to lewd and lascivious conduct involving an 11 year old girl. Judge John B. McClernan ordered six years to prison with parole by the Montana State Parole Board after that. Owen has been jailed since his arrest last October and had previously pled innocent in justice and district court appearances.

Jury Cannot Reach Verdict in Knight Case
