Mrs. Kate Sullivan of the D Aste country near Polson is jailed on inquiry pending after rancher James Johnson was found dead on her doorstep. Johnson allegedly threatened her at 1:30 a m Sunday. she wrestled for a gun, killed him with a .22 pistol, and officials were not notified for about 12 hours. Johnson's body lies at Retz funeral parlors in Polson.
