Pioneer Matron Agnes Knight Dies at 85 in Twin Bridges
Twin Bridges Montana January 16 Mrs Agnes Knight 85 a pioneer of Madison county died today at her son Julian Knights home after a lingering illness. She came to Montana in 1865 traveling up the Missouri river to Fort Benton then by stage to Virginia City where she lived until 1913. Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Episcopalian church Virginia City with burial in Virginia City cemetery. Members of the Order of Eastern Star will conduct services at the grave.
