Libby bridge honor bill moves through Montana Senate
Vietnam veteran Arthur Rambo who died in 1969 at age 24 is honored with a bill to dedicate a Kootenai River bridge on Highway 37 in Libby. Senate Bill 59, sponsored by Sen. Mike Cuffe, drew emotional support from nearly all members during a committee hearing.

UM launches state's first game design degree program

Black Ice Causes Several Crashes on I-90 Near Butte
Montana Highway Patrol suspects black ice caused multiple Sunday crashes between the Rocker and Montana Street exits on Interstate 90 near Butte. One rig driver escaped with minor injuries while another eastbound semi left the road and faced westbound lanes after crossing medians. Trooper George Nassour said first reports came in around 8 a.m. and traffic was diverted to the City Center exit.
