A Cascade County bulldozer cleared a half mile of drifted snow to reach Mrs. Leo Mayernik, who had not seen a doctor since lung surgery two weeks earlier. Her daughter Pat, 16, managed the home as five boys and another girl aged 4 to 19 helped during the two weeks of severe discomfort. A snowmobile led the bulldozer driven by Bob Phillippe of Great Falls, linking the ranch 24 miles south to the county road. the return trip went by pickup.
