A head on crash between Baltimore & Ohio and Erie-Lackawanna freight trains in Sterling Ohio left five crewmen dead and one injured. The collision tore fuel tanks and sparked a 200 foot fireball as both trains derailed and authorities began a detailed salvage and investigation.
