A two alarm blaze in a five story Harlem building forced sixteen families from their apartments Saturday night. The fire started in a furniture store on the ground floor and spread to the second floor. No injuries were reported. The origin was undetermined.

Hunters Bullets Wound Two Men In Park County Elk Season
Two men were wounded during the opening of a southern Park county elk season with some 3000 hunters present. William A. Thurston 66 of Missoula was shot in the chest and in critical condition. W L Barnhart of Livingston was hit in the right thigh and listed as less seriously injured. Patrolmen said stray bullets caused the injuries as Thurston received a transfusion and showed signs of improvement.

A British Overseas Airways Corp Dakota ran out of fuel while seeking a fog free field and crashed near the cliffs of Dover killing at least five of the 17 aboard.
